Kho Sách 0.1.2

A standalone OPDS catalog browser for jailbroken Kindles. Browse a catalog such as Project Gutenberg or your own Calibre server on the device and download books straight into the Kindle library. KOReader is not required.

Tested on a Kindle Paperwhite 5 (2021), firmware 5.19.2. Other models are untested; reports welcome.

Install: one tap

1. Download install-kho-sach.sh.
2. Connect the Kindle over USB and copy the file into its documents/ folder.
3. Eject, turn Wi-Fi on, and tap Install Kho Sách on the home screen.

Tap it again any time to update.

Install: with KPM directly

kpm add-repo https://kpm.mnd.vn/r
kpm install kho-sach

Install: manually, without KPM

Download kho-sach_0.1.2_manual.zip and copy its documents/ and extensions/ folders onto the Kindle drive. Keep your existing extensions/opds/feeds.conf when upgrading.

Catalogs

Edit extensions/opds/feeds.conf over USB. One catalog per line, as Name|URL. Set lang=vi for the Vietnamese interface.
